ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT
Plan pays:
Level 1 Members one (1) times your annual salary for accidental death
Level 2 Members one (1) times your annual salary for accidental death
Level 3 Members are eligible for a $20,000 accidental death benefit.
Plan pays a schedule of benefits for dismemberment.

Child Care - Up to $3,000/year
Education - Up to $2,500/child and up to $3,000 spouse

Definition of levels
While the Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association welcomes all corrections and support personnel working for Florida Sheriffs' Offices - certified and non-certified - for Basic Membership, Enhanced Membership and payroll deduction arrangements are reserved for those in Level 1 and Level 2 categories as described below.
Level 1 = All current Sheriffs in good standing with the Florida Sheriffs Association and full time Florida Certified Deputy Sheriffs and Correctional Officers currently employed by a Florida Sheriffs office.
Level 2 = All other employees currently employed by a Florida Sheriffs office.
Level 3, also called “Associate Member” = Former Sheriffs, Retirees and Volunteers. Level 3 members are not eligible for enhanced membership or payroll deduction; dues are paid on an annual basis by check or money order.
