Power Up: Thriving in the Demands of Modern Policing
December 10, 2025
Time: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Cost: FREE
Location: Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office
Power Up: Managing the Demands of Policing in the 21st Century helps law enforcement reconnect with their purpose, manage stress and organizational change, build resilience on and off the job and finish their careers with fulfillment. Law enforcement often burn out as early years focus on growth, mid-career brings expertise and fatigue and too many disengage instead of reigniting their purpose. In a VUCA—Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity—environment, leaders must provide clarity, resilience and wellness. Technology, from drones to AI-driven tools, transforms policing but innovation succeeds only when law enforcement are trained, supported and given context. Policing is demanding yet rewarding and with the right leadership and mindset, law enforcement can go beyond survival and rediscover purpose.
