Welcome to the Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association

For years, Florida Deputies have expressed an interest in having their own association - one that could grow to be as strong as the Florida Sheriffs Association and serve their particular needs.

That time has come.

Launched in 2008, the Florida Deputy Sheriffs Association (FDSA) has organized and is now ready for founding membership enrollment. FDSA is a membership association for law enforcement, corrections and support personnel working for Florida Sheriffs' Offices. Membership is available to all Sheriffs' Offices certified and non-certified personnel.

The FDSA provides insurance benefits and services to deputies and staff that may not otherwise be available to Sheriff's Office personnel. Legal benefits provide protection including coverage for administrative and termination hearings and on-scene representation (through Enhanced Membership).
