Lend a Hand

The Florida Deputy Sheriff’s Association exists to “serve those who serve”.  No where is this more visible than the FDSA Lend A Hand program.  The program was developed in 2009 with the intent of helping our members in their greatest time of need.  The Lend a Hand program provides immediate monetary resources to a member experiencing a crisis.  It may be someone whose child needs special medical care, a member who needs an organ transplant, or someone who lost their home in a fire.  Regardless of the reason, we take great pride in giving back to the brave men and women who serve us.  In fact, since the program’s creation, more than $250,000 has been provided to our members experiencing a true need.

In the coming editions of the Signal 14 newsletter, we will be spotlighting some of our members who have benefited from this program.   Together, we can make a difference.

If you know of a FDSA member in need, please share their story with us.
